Job Brief
This leading main contractor enjoy an enviable reputation for delivering major projects across multiple sectors in the UK.
They have a requirement for a Junior Engineer to join the team on a large industrial project near Colchester. Applicants should posses at least 1 years’ experience with either a main contractor or specialist groundwork contractor.
Duties will include:
Setting out and supervision of grounworks, piling & RC Frame
Supervision and taking concrete samples.
Setting out and supervising the blockwork & building envelope elements of the project.
Remeasuring and ordering concrete for larger pours
Support the Senior Engineer & Project Manager to ensure works are completed as per programme and to a high standard.
Maintain excellent relationships with the construction management team, sub-contractors and site personnel.
Manage a team of engineers to ensure works are completed as per programme and to a high standard.
