Main Purpose
This role will manage the operations of the organisation and will hold accountability for the management of all funded programmes, ensuring collaboration across the functional units to deliver a wraparound service to our community.
This role will lead a management team with responsibility for co-ordinating and promoting funded programmes throughout the County of Donegal.
This role also holds responsibility for Health & Safety within the organisation.

Summary of main Duties/Responsibilities
 Planning, manage operations, delivery and Implementation to key metrics.
 Management and Supervision of Staff
 Delivery of Operational Policies and Procedures
 Financial Management
 Report Writing, Monitoring and Evaluation
 Reporting to the Board
 Working with external stakeholders
 Management of Health & Safety, Admin and Communication Functions

You…
 You will have current, relevant experience as a senior manager, with a minimum of at least 3 years Management experience, reporting to a senior leader.
 You will have managed a team of minimum size of 5, setting defined key performance indicators (KPIs), as a key decision maker.
 Can demonstrate management behaviours that accord with dignity and respect in the workplace.
 You will have/had responsibility for a Health & Safety function, within the last 2 years.
 You must clearly demonstrate a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience of working with funded programmes or operations that are overseen by/ with external stakeholders or budgets
 You must clearly demonstrate experience of liaising effectively and efficiently with internal/external stakeholders.
 You will have work experience liaising with funders.
 You will have experience in leading teams to deliver timely and relevant reports of both an activity and financial nature for Evaluation Committees, Boards and other groups.
 You must demonstrate clearly your work experience in project management.
 A good working knowledge of the standard family of business related software and IT packages is essential.
 You will be required to be a flexible, motivated, self-starter who can communicate effectively and have good financial and administration skills.
 You will demonstrate the highest integrity in delivering all programmes and your remit, working alongside your team.
 You will be a strong, open, transparent communicator, having demonstrable experience of forming good working relationships with organisations and communities.
 You will be confidential by nature with excellent verbal and written abilities.
 You must have developed financial/commercial acumen skills in a working environment.
 Experience of team/group facilitation.
 Experience of PR/marketing a brand/programme.
 Experience of inter-agency liaison.
 You must hold a clean, current driving license.

Preference will be given to those who along with the above have
o Work experience in Donegal and/or cross border.
o Work experience and/or qualification in the areas of HR and other remit areas.
o External experience on community based committees/boards.
