The role we are recruiting for on this occasion is based in a food production facility based in County Donegal.
Key Duties/Responsibilities/Role Profile:
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Cleaning/Hygiene Manager to use their skills within a very progressive production company;
Reporting to the Operations/Quality Manager the successful candidate will be responsible for the management of a busy night shift cleaning/hygiene team;
You will lead and direct the team to carry out their roles to a very high standard;
You will monitor use of equipment and ensure staff operate same safely;
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday 1600hrs to 00.30hrs;
Must be flexible as some overtime and weekend work will be required.
Experience/Qualifications Required:
Ideal applicants will have significant previous experience working and leading a hygiene team within a production type environment /facility;
Preference will be shown to those with more than 2 year’s experience;
You should have a detailed knowledge of cleaning processes and equipment;
You should be a team player and have strong communication and leadership skills
It is important that you have:
Internal and external audit experience;
Experience working with and controlling cleaning chemicals;
Experience monitoring GMP, Hygiene and Safe Work practices;
Must be able to work well on your own or as part of a team using your own initiative and solve problems as they arise;
Must be highly motivated and flexible with a 'can do' attitude;
A good eye with a high attention to detail;
