Traditionally known for supplying Professional and Technical, Trades and Labour and Operatives to the Construction sector. We now work across all sectors to cater for our clients ever-changing Recruitment needs.
We are currently recruiting for/on behalf of a leading Car Dealership with an impressive pedigree for a General Manager for their site in Letterkenny.
Job Profile/Key Duties/Responsibilities: (include but not limited to)
The successful candidate will be required to ensure the team continuously deliver the highest level of satisfaction to internal and external customers;
To ensure the company business plan is met via the sales of vehicles, finance and insurance products, parts and labour hours;
To ensure that the margins achieved on the sale of all dealership products are in line with manufacturer standards;
To ensure that the team delivers the highest standard of service and that every opportunity is taken to continuously improve working methods and standards;
Oversees sales by ensuring prospecting and follow up activities are conducted;
Ensures stock turn on used cars is adhered to, by review of (and if necessary, revaluing) used cars as they are approaching maximum stock turn days;
Liaise with HR with employment relations, recruitment & selection, learning and development, and people agenda queries;
Monitors the performance of the management team;
Develops action plans to achieve each of the departmental budgets;
Regularly monitors each department’s performance against the budget, identifying shortfalls and plans to address those shortfalls;
Manages Dealership costs by monthly review.

The role would ideally suit a highly professional and dynamic General Sales Manager with a strong track record in the automotive sector and the following qualities:

Full clean driver’s license is essential.
