Headline of the Residential Finishing Foreman Role
With an excellent tradition of building reputable homes, this Southern home counties based housing developer is looking to add a freelancer to a project based in Leatherhead. My client who typically builds timber framed homes, has a site containing a mix of 2, 3 and 4 bedroom properties. The project is well under way, but due to an internal extended holiday, a freelancer is required to drop onto the project for a month to oversee CML’s and completions.
The site already has a permanent Site Manager on this 60 unit site but require a freelancer who can hit the ground running and oversee this project for demanding private and social housing buyers.
Overview of the Finishing Foreman role
With the site already live, the ideal Finishing Foreman will have vast internals/finishing knowledge and able to complete the project on time.
To fit smoothly into this role you should be a team player, have great communication skills and be used to dealing with clients directly.
Your key duties as Finishing Foreman
✔ Ensuring quality at every stage
✔ Monitor and control on material levels
✔ Co-ordinate labour and trades
✔ Benefit from a proactive site team who will actively support your career advancement
✔ Work closely with the sales team to deliver excellent customer relations
Key experiences you should have as Finishing Foreman
✔ Solid work history of delivering the construction homes for ideally previous developers
✔ Be a great communicator with the ability to support your site team
✔ Developing knowledge of the housebuilding construction process
✔ Be from a trade background or have developed skills from activity being on live projects
✔ Great customer service skills and the ability to deliver on new homeowners’ expectations
