3D Personnel are proud to represent a Top Tier Main Contractor, looking to hire multiple Finishing Foremen and a Lead Finishing Foreman for a hotel project based in Cambridge.
Lead Foreman – Salary up to £55,000
Finishing Foremen Salary up to £45,000
Salary Negotiable depending on experience.
The contractor is well known in the industry with a portfolio of projects that include: commercial offices, mixed-use buildings, residential, retail, education, distribution and logistics, hotels and leisure space. This is the opportunity for a long term permanent position with a progressive company whose reputation in the industry speaks for itself. You will be tasked with supervising a team, leading from the front and ensuring that works are being carried out to a high spec and within budget.
Duties of the successful Finishing Foreman will include but will not be limited to:
- Supervising trades and operatives onsite
- Attend weekly progress meetings
- Responsible for Health and Safety
- Helping with managing sub-contractor’s work flow
- Delivering projects to deadlines, ensuring maximum efficiency through team-work and effective planning
- Responsibility for maintaining excellent client relationships
- Providing leadership and professional guidance to operatives
What do we want?
- Previous experience in a similar role with a main or sub-contractor
- Hotel or Residential experience
- Carpentry trade background
- Technical knowledge of construction build processes
- Focus on, and attention to, detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Assertive and strong persuasion skills
- Strong time management skills
