Permanent Role – Full Time
Salary DOE circa early –mid 20s
We are working again with our client who owns a group of companies in Derry including a successful real estate agency and successful Development company. They are now in the position to offer an employment opportunity to a Financial Assistant to join their very successful team.

Duties to include:
Working for numerous associated companies if necessary;
Updating accounts - purchases, sales and nominal;
Processing payroll UK and Ireland;
Processing invoices and maintaining ledgers;
VAT returns and PAYE returns for both UK and Ireland;
Credit control/Control accounts;
Reconcile accounts;
Assist with payment runs;
Maintaining project costings;
Assist in preparation of trial balance, P&L, cash flow, reporting and projections.

Requirements:
What we are looking for.
Must have experience in dealing with all aspects of running a busy accounts office and experience of all Microsoft Office applications, Project Costings and Sage.
At least 5/6 years’ experience of processing high volume transactions and working in a busy office environment;
Excellent - communication, interpersonal, organisational and accuracy skills and attention to detail;
Educated to A Level or equivalent;
GCSE Maths and English at Grade C and above, GCSE accounts an advantage;
Ideally have an Accounting Technician Qualification;
Possess a clean driving licence and owing a car would be an advantage;
Strong focus on working to strict deadlines, working as part of a team and capable of Time Management;
Capable of multitasking and prioritising;
Must have excellent IT skills.
