This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic business that is experiencing exceptional growth. We are supporting our client in their search for a Financial Controller to come on board and make difference that they can make within our business.
You would be responsible for providing support to the COO in providing accurate and timely financial information to all stakeholders for decision-making purposes and assist with the smooth running of the Accounts Team.
Responsibilities:
- Managing day to day financial operations
- Development and roll out of processes and best practice across the Accounts Team
- Processing of various VAT/CIS/PAYE returns
- Monthly review/production of management accounts for reporting to COO
- Budgets and forecasts to be produced
- Other adhoc requests and reporting as required
Additional details:
- Key point of contact for payroll and Accounts queries
- Line management of those within the Accounts and Payroll Team
- This role will report to the COO
- Seeking someone who is energetic, enthusiastic and focused on a career in Finance/Accounting
Relevant experience needed:
- Qualified Accountant - ACA / ACCA / CIMA
- Minimum 5 years overall experience in a similar role (minimum of 2 years in a comparable Accounting role in Construction)
- Proven track record of producing concise Management information
- Experience of financial reporting
- Cash Management and Forecasting experience is essential
- Strong Systems experience and Excel skills
- A “can do” attitude
- Good attention to detail and thorough work ethic
