The Marketing & Communications Officer will bring our product offerings and services to life through highly creative and award-winning communication and marketing collateral. The post-holder will create, edit, implement, and manage the marketing messages, activities and materials through which our clients, leaders, team members and the general public experience us.

The role is generally focused on working with internal strategic partners to design, edit and formulate innovative high-quality marketing and business development collateral with a unique tone and a compelling argument for successful client and revenue growth.
The person will be responsible for creating, planning, and implementing a structured online and offline content marketing program to increase brand awareness across our core target audiences. This will be achieved through a blend of both traditional marketing methodologies combined with digital channels and platforms.
The ideal person will be able to showcase extensive experience of developing award-winning marketing collateral that support brand awareness, business engagement and success. You must be a starter finisher with outstanding design talent, editing skills and attention to detail.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:
In summary, your role will include:
Working with business leaders to develop a truly outstanding brand identity and ensure this is reflective in all our marketing and bids material.
Exercising the latest graphic design skills to develop our brand, and to create standardised marketing, bids & business development material.
Establishing creative and standardised high-quality business development collateral that will boast our brand identity, maximise our potential and support business growth.
The application of strong InDesign skills to ensure all collateral is delivered with maximum effect.
Ensuring all collateral is formatted professionally and in line with brand and quality standards.
Coordinating content gathering and creative editing to support the generation of leadership articles, client stories, team member stories and newsletters.
Proactively work to ensure all internal and external marketing collateral is up to date.
This will include bids policies, bids templates, CVs, presentations, project sheets, project proposals, organigrams, image libraries. case studies, newsletters, and brochures.
Working with our newly appointed IT specialist to maintain the content of the
Groups website; testing functions, adding content, and liaising with stakeholders to ensure functionality.
Establishing, developing, and delivering the social media content marketing plan for the Group.
Leading the content calendar process (Inc. approvals), raising brand awareness, increased data capture and engagement levels across all channels. Leading the generation, creation, and placement of engaging, creative, compelling, and informative organic content across all social media outposts which informs, entertains, and delights audiences with brand focused messaging.
Executing daily social media activities, including posts, tweets and blogs.
Optimising content for each distinct channel whether content is written, photography, video or testimonial led.
Working with our IT specialist Using Google Analytics and other data sources to assess impact efficiency of social media activity and engagement levels.
Conducting ongoing research to identify audience needs, desires and satisfaction levels.
Developing effective evaluation methods and provide regular campaign and activity reports.

Experience/Qualifications Required:
A level 7 or equivalent qualification in a marketing or related discipline.
A minimum of 3 years recent experience in a marketing, communications, or digital role.
A minimum of 5 years recent experience in in a marketing, communications, or digital role.
Solid experience of using Abode InDesign or other similar software application.
Demonstrable experience of contributing to the delivery of successful digital communications and marketing campaigns.
Demonstrable experience of a broad media mix.
Knowledge and understanding of the use and application of current and emerging digital communication methods across a range of platforms.
Experience in planning and executing social media activity across a range of platforms.
Excellent writing skills and able to create highly visual and compelling content.
Excellent editorial and content management skills.
Excellent MS PowerPoint skills.
