We are looking for a Contracts Manager with a Tier 1 contractor based in the Southampton area. They are looking for a with good commercial and safety background on large build projects who would be able to work well with the Operations Managers/Directors as well as with the Project Managers and commercial teams that they would be supervising. Will be working on up to 4 projects at any one give time with a combined value of between £30-£40m.
Candidate will be responsible for the implementation of company policy and procedures and ensuring best practices on all projects and works. Will also have to have good financial skills to help achieve planned gross margins for assisgned projects as well as being able to allocate operationla resources to projects as the need arises. Will also be taking a lead on recruitment and training as well as delegating these task to senior personnel under their remit. Will ensure that project delivery targets are met and that they comply with company guidelines.
Role would suit a candidate with excellent management of large build projects in the UK construction market. Salary and package are negotiable depending on the candidates experience.
