The 3D Personnel Multi-Sector team are extremely pleased to be working alongside an Education and Training provider in Co Donegal who provide a broad range of education and training services to thousands of students annually. We currently have an additional position available to join our temporary workforce with this client and support their administration/finance teams.

 

The duties of the post include but are not limited to the following:

  • Reception duties – including in-person, telephone and online queries, incoming and outgoing mail, receiving deliveries, etc.
  • Processing of Supplier Payments and Student Payments.
  • Photocopying, printing and the maintenance of accurate records in relation to the activities of the Centre.
  • Assist in the preparation of advertising material e.g. leaflets, posters, local news notes.
  • Monitoring stock and resources for staff and students of the FET Centre
  • Logging incoming and outgoing laptops, tablets and other such devices.
  • Participate in and contribute to organised events, e.g. presentation of certificates, open days, etc.
  • Any other emerging administrative duties that may be assigned from time to time.

 

What’s required

Essential:

Have obtained at least Grade D3 in five subjects in the Leaving Certificate Examination (higher, ordinary, applied or vocational programmes) or equivalent.

                                       or

Have passed an examination at the appropriate level within the QQI Qualifications Framework which can be assessed as being of a comparable to Leaving Certificate standard or equivalent i.e.  a full award at Level 5, or higher

                                       or

Have appropriate relevant experience which encompasses equivalent skills and expertise.

 

The person in this role will need to be comfortable to communicate both in writing and orally through the medium of Irish. 

You will also be able to demonstrate.

  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Experience of working in an administrative or an accounts payable role.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to express oneself in a clear and articulate manner, verbally and in writing.
  • Excellent ICT skills, including Microsoft Office and online databases/systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain records in a private and confidential manner as required in accordance with GDPR and organisation Guidelines.
  • Solution-focused organisational skills and the ability to manage own workload within a supervised environment.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and prioritise multiple tasks under the direction of the Centre Manager.
