Café & Deli Supervisor

Full-time Contract
Our client based in Donegal is a very established own brand retailer.
They are now looking to hire additional staff to join their team with immediate effect.
This role will suit an ambitious individual who is seeking a new and challenging opportunity.
Key Skills and Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day management of a busy café and deli set in a bustling grocery store;
Order supplies, food and ingredients based on rapidly shifting demand;
Assist the store Manager with menu changes and adjustments based on seasonal availability;
Ability to maximise sales and margin whilst minimising waste.
Experience/Qualifications/Requirements:
Suitable applicants will have a minimum of two years’ culinary experience in a deli or kitchen environment.
Those with above experience and experience at a manager level will be at a significant advantage.
You will have excellent leadership and communication skills and you must be able to manage and develop a team.
An ability to manage, coach, mentor, develop and motivate the deli team.
Ensure compliance with all food hygiene policies, HACCP and Health & Safety requirements.
Creating and maximising promotions/offers to encourage sales and footfall.
Have excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to maintain high levels of customer service satisfaction.
Ability to maintain and improve department standards.
