Our client based in Donegal and within easy reach of Derry are a leading manufacturer with well over 30 years’ experience working on projects locally and internationally.
The business is in a period of significant growth. Due to their busy work load they have a vacancy for a 3D BIM Modeler to join their team.

Job Profile:
To add value to existing specialist design teams. You will work in a team-oriented environment designing and drafting 3D models of electrical systems for coordination and preparation of electrical installation drawings for various types’ industrial and commercial projects.
Key Functions: (include but may not be limited to)
Under light supervision, complete basic to highly complex drawings using intelligent REVIT / BIM modelling and/or CAD;
Develop plan details from a 3D BIM model for projects of all sizes and technical complexities;
Create Revit / BIM models to a high level of accuracy;
Develop the model virtually for specific design discipline. Ensure that the model aligns with the standards and goals as per project and client expectations;
Collaborate and coordinate internally or/and externally with other disciplines design-changes and model change;
Setup and manage including revisions and mark-ups for each project;
Clearly annotate, dimension and detail drawings in conformance to company standards and practices;
Create 3D views or renderings on an as-needed basis for project use;
Continued development of “best practices” for BIM;
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Experience/Qualifications/Requirements:
The successful candidate will be expected to possess the following;
Essential:
2 Years + experience minimum in a comparable role;
Mechanical background using 3D BIM/Revit;
Proficiency in Revit / BIM modelling and AutoCAD required;
Ability to draft required structures using 3D BIM / Revit within a pre-determined time frame;
Must be able to read and interpret design drawings;
Ability to effectively communicate with team members and customers.
