VACANCY: BIM COORDINATOR

LOCATION: WEST DUBLIN

SALARY: €55K PLUS PACKAGE (DOE)

3DPersonnel’s client is a tier1 main contractor with an excellent reputation in the Irish Construction industry. They have undertaken some of Ireland’s largest and most prestigious projects thus receiving a reputation as one of Irelands most respected main contractors.

3DPersonnel’s client is currently seeking to recruit an experienced BIM Coordinator to be based in Dublin. 

The successful candidate will be experienced in working within main contractors undertaking large scale building construction projects.

Responsibilities: 

• Client projects under the direction of the BIM Manager. 
• Oversee day-to-day activities of BIM technicians
• Generation of clash detection reports for each of the required MEP clash detection tests
• Work closely with engineers, designers, contractors, and subcontractors to provide project coordination documentation. 
• Assists the Lead Engineer in maintaining the project design schedule and budget. 
• Confers and coordinates with the Lead Engineer regarding any missing information required for completion of the design. 
• Confers and coordinates with other disciplines to assure compliance with project requirements, company standards and procedures, industry codes and standards, utility company requirements, and client criteria. 

Qualifications:  

• 2+ year’s active project experience producing construction documents using Revit MEP.
• Knowledge of MEP (HVAC & Plumbing and/or Electrical) design and equipment. 
• Sound knowledge of engineering design principles and MEP production. 
• Experience with duct systems, electrical, plumbing, and piping layouts and designs preferred. 
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office. 
• The ability to work as part of a team. 
• The ability to meet deadlines. 
• Good numeracy and computer skills.
