POSITION: Bid Writer
LOCATION: Northern Ireland
SALARY: £35,000 - £50,000
FUNCTION: To effectively administer the tender process and pre-qualifications, tendering and commercial proposals for current and potential customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Managing and contributing to the preparation and submission of Group PQQ’s and tenders
• Maintaining and updating Major Account Team of out of date agreements
• Completing customer questionnaires and compliance documents
• Maintaining central register of all tenders being submitted
• Updating Local Authority central information spreadsheet
• Monthly Local Authority revenue checking and contract adjustments
• Checking daily sources for new tender opportunities
• Ensuring compliance with company policies and commercial requirements
• Annual maintenance of Business Reports folder
• Ad Hoc reporting and investigation where required
PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
• Tender deadlines met to a high standard
• Ensure sufficient time for senior management to review
• On-going management appraisal
• Tender Process optimised
• Administration systems optimised
