Technical Manager / Nutritionist
Full-time perm contract

3D Personnel are assisting this business in their search for the perfect candidate for a Technical Manager / Nutritionist role for a section of their business. This role represents a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious candidate to progress and develop within one of Ireland’s leading multi discipline organisations.
What will you be doing?
The successful candidate will have a diverse role and includes but not limited to:
Support and grow sales, continue to develop specific product ranges and support the employers Commercial Specialist and wider teams in delivering expert technical advice to some of their key customers;
You will continue to develop strong and effective relationships with all stakeholders while creating and delivering value and impact for customers;
Oversee nutritional formulations and product specifications for the Animal Feed Mill;
Implementation of best practice ensuring compliance to feed safety and quality control standards;
Responsible for assessing the relative nutritional values of various feeds and forages;
Provide on farm technical support to formulate diets that meet customers’ requirements/objectives;
Spearhead the continuous training and technical development of teams across the business;
Drive brand development through new product development and marketing;
Identify and develop new business opportunities;
Monitor the evolution of farming developments, environmental and industry standards and make recommendations for change to ensure the Mill remains relevant and competitive.
What skills, experience, qualifications and attributes should you have?
Degree qualification in Animal Nutrition and previous experience in a similar role;
Strong commercial attitude, motivated by results and capable of working independently to achieve results;
Natural networking, strategic planning, prioritizing, leadership, financial and resource management skills;
You will be a genuine team player that proactively shares knowledge and experience to contribute to the development of the team;
You will be highly motivated and a team player with a strong focus on organizational goals and customer service;
You will have the right Drive to ensure the continuous rapid growth of the brand;
