Sarah Swann joins as a Recruitment Consultant based out of our London office

Having recently moved to London from New Zealand, Sarah brings with her a good understanding of the construction and property industries, having previously worked as an Architectural and Design consultant. In this previous role she saw first-hand just how crucial it was to have the right professionals on board to bring construction projects to life. This real-life experience will be a great asset for 3D Personnel, as she recruits for the freelance ProTec business in the UK, placing construction professionals into our busy client contract roles.

Sarah commented:

I am looking forward to meeting construction professionals and growing my knowledge of the UK freelance market, as I help clients build their ‘Dream Teams’, whilst supporting candidates in finding positions where they can thrive.

Sarah has a great drive to succeed in recruitment which will be evident, when you engage with her to find your next role, or as a client when you are seeking to recruit that new site team member.

When not giving her all for her clients, Sarah likes nothing more than going running as she explores London’s green spaces, or checks out one of London’s many restaurants enjoying the cosmopolitan food scene.

Fionn Gallagher recently relocated from our Irish operations, to a role as Commercial Manager based at our London office

Fionn is a seasoned Commercial Manager with over three years of experience in ensuring top candidates employ positions that meet our client requirements and candidate aspirations. Fionn's commitment to building and maintaining strong client relationships through communication and trust has earned him respect of both clients and candidates.

Fionn has valuable hands-on experience working on residential developments in the Dublin Docklands and on demolition projects around Dublin. This exposure to construction practices and challenges provided him with a deep understanding of construction professionals' needs.

Equipped with Economics and Finance degrees from the University of Galway, Fionn brings a diverse perspective and analytical mindset to recruitment. His economic lens, coupled with his understanding of the construction industry, enables him to provide unique value to clients and candidates.

Outside of work, Fionn is an avid sports enthusiast, actively playing for Tír Chonaill Gaels in London and following Donegal GAA. He also enjoys spending time with friends, traveling, and attending football matches.

Fionn's blend of industry experience, academic background, and personal interests makes him a well-rounded and effective Commercial Manager. His dedication to positive relationships, candidate satisfaction, and exceeding client expectations makes him an invaluable asset to any team.

Shane Gillespie joins as a Recruitment Consultant based in our Derry office

Shane arrived at 3D after graduated from ATU Donegal with a degree in Business Management and Accounting. Having gained experience in several areas within the 3D operation, he now works from our Derry office as a Recruiter specialising in contract roles.

Adapting easily to new challenges and with a great attitude and personality, he has excelled in his current role.

Commenting on his motivations he had this to say:

Providing our clients with the right candidates and getting good feedback from both parties is something that motivates me when recruiting.

I look forward to progressing here at 3D and building my network.

A Manchester United fan for his sins, he loves to keep active and plays sports regularly.

Expanding on Shane’s new role, Jason McGowan, Director at 3D Personnel commented:

I’d like to welcome Shane to the 3D Personnel team. Shane will be working on securing roles for our Professional and Technical freelance / contract candidates on short and medium assignments. Working in conjunction with our established team, Shane will provide the industry with a much-needed service going forward.

Shane Mulcahy joins as a Labour Manager based in our Cork office

Shane joined the 3D team in Cork having spent the previous two years in recruitment, following several years working in sales/account management. His experience covers B2B telecommunications, oil, cyber security and life sciences & automation.

This experience of working in multiple roles and sectors, while interacting with a variety of people, has helped Shane to develop a great ability in building relationships and trust with clients and candidates alike.

He currently manages the day-to-day requirements in the Cork office, supporting our clients and candidates working on site.

Highlighting his simple approach to work he comments:

I feel you get great job satisfaction from doing your best and delivering a good service.

Another long-suffering Manchester United fan (at least with Roy Keane on his doorstep he has an excuse), he enjoys all sports. And if he could ever get his swing under control, with his excellent short game, he could be a Cork rival for the other Shane! For now, he’s sticking to Pitch and Putt.

Welcoming Shane to his new role in Cork, 3D’s Director, Michael Moriarty had this to say:

Shane has already slotted in seamlessly to his new role at the Cork office. He is hands on, enthusiastic and great with clients and candidates. We are delighted to have him on board as we head into 2024.

Gary Doherty joins as a Labour Manager based in our Donegal office

One of the newest recruits to the 3D family, Gary works out of our new Donegal office as a Labour Manager. Having completed his Leaving Cert and still unsure of the career route ahead, he decided to take a year out from his studies to learn more about the construction recruitment business.

Having settled into his new role, under the watchful eye of his older brother Philip, he is taking things in his stride.

Striving to make a difference each day at work, he pushes himself to constantly improve and to be as helpful as possible to his colleagues.

Inspired by family and involved as a participant and fan of many sports, including playing for local GAA club Naomh Columba, Gary is always kept busy.
