3D Personnel Employee of the Month - July 2026

3D Personnel are delighted to announce our UK and Ireland - Employee of the Month awardees for July 2026 ✨

Both recipients have kept the 3D flag flying out on site, during all weathers (including the recent heatwaves), leading by example while getting the job done 👏🏻

The chosen candidates for July were: 

Padraig Gaynor representing our UK operations

Nicolae Heghea representing our Irish operations 

Our monthly awards are an opportunity to focus on our core team members working on sites and projects throughout the UK and Ireland. We want to thank all of our operatives for their continuing dedication and hard work.

A recent enough addition to the 3D Specialist Contracting team, Padraig has made an immediate impact, working as an operative helping to tidy up and maintain the Hackney Wick site in East London, which is being developed by the Notting Hill Genesis organisation. 

Notting Hill Genesis is a not-for-profit organisation with a focus on providing quality homes at below-market rents for people who would otherwise struggle to afford them. It works as both a landlord and a developer, with more than 60,000 existing homes developed and 3,000 more in the pipeline over the next five years.

Padraig is second generation Irish, with his parents hailing from the home of current All Ireland Senior Football Champions, Mayo. Studying engineering at Brunel University of London, he has used his time with 3D to get a more practical feel for work on a construction site, which will no doubt be of benefit to him as he continues to develop his career in Engineering. 

Speaking about Padraig's contribution on site, 3D Specialist Contracting Operations Manager, Nathan McElwaine had this to say;

Padraig joined 3D earlier this summer, looking for part-time work while studying engineering in college. He hit the ground running and has impressed the management onsite with his work ethic and how he had the site looking immaculate every evening. Our Logistics Manager, Tamba had a lot of praise for him and commented on how hard he worked every day on site.

He is also making a good impression with the North London Shamrocks, where he is currently playing with the reserve team.

Nicolae Heghea representing our Irish operations 

Another deserving recipient of our monthly award, Nicolae has been a long-term 3D team player in the Dublin region. An accomplished Teleporter Driver, he has spent most of 2026 working with Gilbert-Ash on their new Premier Inn hotel, as part of the new Cleary's Development in Dublin City Centre.  

Hardworking and flexible, he brings great experience and a safety-first attitude to any site he works on.

Speaking about Nicolae's contribution to 3D, our Account Manager, Darran Lunny had this to say;  

Since coming on board with 3D Personnel, Nicolae has worked as a Teleporter Driver for a number of the main contractors around Dublin. During his time with us, he has proved to be highly motivated, hardworking and always popular with the site teams.  

We are glad to have him as part of the team and are delighted to acknowledge his hard work and commitment with this award.
