3D Personnel Multi-Sector Division are seeking on behalf of a valued client in Dublin (D18) - a detail-oriented Tax Compliance Analyst to support the company's tax compliance and reporting obligations across Ireland and multiple European jurisdictions. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic Finance team, working closely with senior finance leaders, HR, Payroll, and external advisors on a broad range of corporate and employee tax matters.

This company is one of Ireland's leading international construction contractors, delivering large-scale data centre, life sciences, residential, commercial and infrastructure projects, with over 70 years in business, 2,000+ projects completed and hundreds of employees.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring compliance across corporation tax, VAT, payroll taxation, withholding taxes, international mobility taxation, and various indirect tax obligations relevant to a multinational construction environment.
The Role
As Tax Compliance Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting tax compliance activities across several jurisdictions while helping manage tax obligations relating to internationally mobile employees.
Key Responsibilities
Tax Compliance
* Assist with the preparation and submission of Irish and international VAT returns.
* Support the preparation of Corporation Tax computations and related schedules.
* Prepare and reconcile payroll tax information where required.
* Assist with subcontractor withholding tax compliance and reporting obligations.
* Monitor tax filing deadlines across multiple jurisdictions.
* Maintain tax calendars and ensure timely completion of compliance activities.
* Liaise with external tax advisors in Ireland and overseas.
Global Mobility Administration
* Coordinate tax compliance processes for internationally mobile employees.
* Work closely with HR to maintain accurate records relating to assignments, secondments, business travel, and international transfers.
* Monitor assignment start and end dates and ensure all associated tax and payroll obligations are managed appropriately.
* Coordinate personal tax return preparation with external advisers.
* Monitor employee tax residency positions.
* Support PAYE withholding obligations, shadow payroll processes, and tax equalisation calculations.
* Track employer reporting obligations across multiple jurisdictions.
* Ensure compliance with Irish Revenue requirements relating to internationally mobile employees.
Payroll & Social Security
* Liaise with Payroll to ensure appropriate tax treatment of internationally mobile employees.
* Support the administration of A1 Certificates and international social security arrangements.
* Assist with applications under relevant double taxation and social security agreements.
* Monitor payroll reporting requirements arising from overseas assignments.
Business Traveller Compliance
* Monitor international business travel activity.
* Identify potential tax and payroll liabilities arising from short-term business travel.
* Support business traveller tracking and reporting.
* Prepare management reports highlighting potential compliance risks.
Stakeholder Management & Reporting
* Act as a key point of contact for internationally mobile employees regarding tax administration processes.
* Liaise with HR, Payroll, Finance teams, and external advisors.
* Support internal and external audits relating to international mobility compliance.
* Prepare tax account reconciliations.
* Assist with month-end and year-end tax reporting.
* Support international subsidiary tax compliance.
* Maintain tax procedures and internal controls.
* Track tax payments and refunds.
* Produce ad hoc reports as required.
Continuous Improvement
* Support the development and enhancement of international mobility payroll policies and procedures.
* Identify opportunities to improve mobility tracking, compliance, and tax administration processes.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
* 2-4 years' experience in tax administration, international mobility, payroll, finance, or a related discipline.
* Experience supporting internationally mobile employees and shadow payroll processes.
* Knowledge of Irish PAYE and Revenue requirements.
* Understanding of double taxation agreements and international social security rules.
* Experience working with external tax advisors.
* Strong organisational and administrative skills.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
* Ability to manage confidential employee information in line with GDPR requirements.
* Previous experience within the construction sector would be a distinct advantage.
