Vacancy: Sub Agent

 

Location: St Albans

 

3D Personnel are currently an experienced Sub Agent in St Albans.

Your new company: One of the Region’s Leading Civil Engineering Contractor with over 30 years operational experience in this marketplace.

Project: You will be working on large Highway, Infrastructure , Utilities and reinstatements projects.

Site Management

  • Contribute towards the successful delivery of the schemes;
  • Produce and manage weekly/biweekly project programme and supervise the delivery of it;
  • Understand and interpret drawings and specifications
  • Ensure all staff, subcontractors and visitors are properly inducted, meet the competencies required of them and hold relevant qualifications and tickets;
  • Obtain all ‘as built’ information ensuring that it is accurate and relevant;

Health, Safety, Environment and Quality

  • Comply with Company procedures and legal obligations at all times, promoting best practice
  • Ensure that daily, weekly and monthly inspections are carried out and all audits and reports are produced
  • Liaise with relevant third parties and government agencies
  • Promote core values and establish safe working cultures, practices and environmental compliance
  • Maintain and manage construction sites and subcontractors, developing positive working relationships
  • Oversee and ensure that all HSEQ-related documentation is produced, kept up to date and is briefed as necessary
  • Ensure that the QA file is produced and maintained

Cost control

  • Contribute towards the cost plan and management for the schemes;
  • Ensure detailed site diaries/records are completed;
  • Managing resources;
  • Ensure that records of resources are complete and accurate;

Requirements:

  • Relevant industry qualification BEng/HND/HNC or equivalent
  • Relevant CSCS card
  • SMSTS 5-day safety qualification
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the construction industry
