Role – Site Foreman

Contract Type – Permanent Full time

Location - Dublin

About the role

Our client is a leading Residential Developer with a vast portfolio across Ireland over the last 30+ years is currently recruiting an experienced Site Foreman. Reporting to our Contracts Manager, you will manage the day to day operations of our site.

This is a long-term opportunity with plans to develop over 4,000 units on site over the next 3 years.

Responsibilities include:

  • The construction of a residential scheme from greenfield through to completion
  • Manage and coordinate both site staff and sub-contractors on site
  • Management of H&S on site to ensure highest standards are maintained
  • Liaise and communicate closely with the design team and other stakeholders
  • Plan the daily resourcing and control of site labour and ordering of materials, completing the online daily site diary and relevant weekly documentation in accordance with company policy
  • Carry out company compliance and administration procedures and recording performance and progress of site operations and subcontractors
  • Ensure all employees and site visitors comply with all Health and Safety obligations

Requirements:

  • Degree/Higher Diploma/HETAC qualification (or relevant trade experience)
  • 5+ years’ site management experience on residential projects
  • Proven record of seen projects through from greenfield to completion
  • Experienced managing multiple residential contracts (apartments is preferred)
  • Knowledge of latest building regulation and certification standards
  • A strong sense of ownership and responsibility for tasks/projects
  • Accuracy, attention to detail and a methodical nature are key
  • The ability to lead, use initiative and be self-motivated
