Our client delivers professional construction consultancy services to a wide range of clients delivering projects across the UK.

As a Quantity Surveyor you’ll be overseeing construction projects from outset to completion on all commercial and financial aspects. You'll be working with the Project Team to allow projects to be delivered safely, on time and to budget whilst ensuring client satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

You’ll undertake the production of cost plans, benchmarking activities and input costs into data bases. Undertaking market research of material costs including obtaining quotations from suppliers, producing cash flows and procurement and cost reports.

Applicants will have demonstrable experience of preparing tender documentation, bill of quantities/pricing documents, interim and final assessment of valuations, production and collation of contract documents as well as the change control process

The successful applicant will be well-established in a cost consultancy, degree qualified (RICS accredited or equivalent) and be able to demonstrate experience of working within the construction industry and commercial awareness of the construction process. You’ll have an excellent technical grounding in all main areas of cost management, contract suites and their application, understanding value engineering. Ideally you’ll have a ‘client-centric’ outlook, with an ambition to deliver projects meeting client objectives cost effectively
