Position: Setting out Engineer
Contract: Permanent, Full time
Location: Dublin
3D Personnel are currently working together with a leading civil engineering main contractor in looking for a Site Engineer to join an upcoming project in Dublin. The successful candidate will be a goal driven, ambitious individual with strong setting out abilities. Experience in working with main contractors is necessary.
Duties:
- Providing technical assistance to the project team where required and coordinating the technical aspects of package handovers;
- Quality control, ITP’s, downloading coordinates and reading designs;
- Attending daily pre-works briefings;
- Setting out of projects;
- Producing RFI’s & producing and closing out NCR’s;
- Producing daily diaries;
- Providing as built surveys and redline sketches;
- Providing onsite materials quantities and measurement of completed works;
- Reporting to the Project Manager and supporting site team.
Skills:
- Civil engineering or construction degree will set you apart;
- Setting out experience is needed;
- Understanding of building and civil engineering works;
- Understanding of site paperwork and photos, as well as an understanding of street works;
