Position: Setting out Engineer
Contract: Permanent, Full time
Location: Co. Cork
3D Personnel’s client is a premier civil engineering main contractor with operations throughout Ireland. They are currently on the lookout for a Setting out Engineer to be based in Cork in joining a new project. The successful candidate will be experienced in working with main contractors.
Responsibilities:
- General setting out of piles, checking drawings and setting out information;
- Producing as-built drawings and records, liaising with customers and other contractors;
- Resolving technical issues, monitoring of works and quality control requirements on site, in accordance with specification;
- Working to high Health, Safety and Environmental standards, etc.
Requirements:
- Civil engineering or construction degree is preferred;
- Knowledge of current Health & Safety regulations;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office;
- Previous experience working within the construction industry;
- Experience in the use of CAD software.
