Setting Out Engineer (9-Month Contract) | Milltown, Dublin 6

€35 - €45 per hour (depending on tax set-up)

We are seeking a Setting Out Engineer for a 9-month fixed-term contract with a leading Irish property development group on a residential project in Milltown, Dublin 6, with a concrete basement and precast superstructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Set out the works using total station and levels
• Carry out QA/QC inspections and maintain as-built records
• Supervise subcontractors and check works against drawings and specifications
• Raise RFIs and help order and schedule materials
• Support the Site Manager / Senior Engineer with programme and progress reporting
• Promote a strong health & safety culture on site

Skills & Qualifications

• 3-5 years' setting-out experience, ideally on basements and precast frames
• Degree in Civil Engineering or similar
• Site engineering experience with a main contractor
• Strong setting-out skills with total station and levels
• Valid Safe Pass and relevant site tickets
• Full driving licence
