Our client is a Tier 1 construction company who have operations across the UK in a number of construction sectors.
They are looking for a Senior Operations Director to join their team in Central London.
The successful candidate will be an active Operations Board Member with strategic involvement in the business, contributing to the overall business plan and will have sole accountability and ownership of allocated clusters.
- Play an integral role within the divisions operational board and support the MD, Commercial Director and Finance Director upstream to deliver the divisional budget and targets
- Provide support to divisional Operations Directors and Senior Project Directors downstream
- To develop strategic business development relationships
- To achieve budgeted forward order book to ensure a sustainable and growing business
- To maintain capability to deliver concurrent projects and bid new opportunities at any one time
- To ensure robust reporting structure is in place for escalation of delivery issues/risks
- To manage resources in line with the business requirements ensuring timely recruitment, effective management and utilisation
- To ensure the highest quality standards are achieved
- Degree level qualification
- Background ideally within construction and fit out sectors
- Proven significant operational leadership experience at divisional/board level
