Our client is a Tier 1 construction company who have operations across the UK in a number of construction sectors.
They are looking for a Senior Construction Manager to join their team for large construction projects in the London area for 2019.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working with bid teams to advise of buildability, logistics and construction program
- Plan skill requirements for projects
- Direct timely, quality and cost efficient set up for all projects ensuring that meeting and reporting documentation and schedules are implemented from the outset
- Be responsible with the project lead and accountable for all H&S for your project
- Responsible for accurate and timely reporting on your project
- Be responsible and manage project construction team
- Work closely with Project Manager/Director, Design Manager and Building Services Manager and commercial team on all aspects of the job
Key skills/experience:
- Strong industry experience with an engineering or construction background with good in depth knowledge of various trades required to complete a project (HNC or NVQ minimum)
- MCIOB
- CSCS Contracts Manager card
- IOSH Managing Safely or CITB equivalent
- Comprehensive awareness of health and safety
- General knowledge of contracts
