The Role:
- Our client is seeking to recruit a Senior Quantity Surveyor to help drive their business.
- Experience of civil or building projects within the Irish market is needed.
- Ideally, you will have experience of various buidling projects.
- Measurement, procurement, preparation of valuations
- Post-tender negotiations
- Liaising with design teams
- Identifying & preparing variation claims
- Subcontractor appointments & accounts, monthly reporting.
- Ability to review contract documents and formulate a strategy,
- Oversee the preparation and valuation of accounts,
- Preparing and placing subcontract packages,
- Ability to deal and settle accounts with subcontractors,
- First-hand experience in the preparation and submission of variations and claims,
- Preparation of final accounts, etc.
- Excellent communication skills
