We're partnering with a highly respected production company operating across Ireland and the UK, renowned for quality, integrity, and being an Employer of Choice. They're seeking a Sales Executive to join their Commercial Team at their impressive Co. Donegal facility, focusing on Foodservice and Wholesale customers.
In this role, you'll manage key accounts, drive new business, and ensure exceptional service for both own-label and client-branded products. You'll be at the heart of the company's growth story.
What You'll Do
Account Management
- Build and nurture trusted relationships with new and existing customers
- Handle issues professionally, ensuring top-class service
- Prepare compelling sales presentations, proposals, and reports
- Analyse customer activity to provide actionable commercial insights
- Communicate customer needs effectively across internal teams
Product Launches & Promotions
- Coordinate new product rollouts and promotional campaigns
- Work closely with Marketing, Production, and Logistics to exceed customer expectations
- Distribute promotional materials and product samples strategically
Reporting & Analysis
- Deliver accurate sales reports, account data, and performance reviews
- Translate trends and insights into actionable recommendations
- Present findings to support internal strategy and client engagement
Customer Communications & Administration
- Be a trusted point of contact for customer queries
- Coordinate internally to ensure smooth order fulfilment and service delivery
- Resolve issues proactively to maintain customer satisfaction
Who You Are
Essential:
- Proven track record in a commercial sales role
- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Confident with Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
- Able to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Customer-focused and solution-oriented
- Full driving licence
- Willing to travel across Ireland & the UK
Desirable:
- Experience in food, beverage, or FMCG
- Familiarity with CRM/ERP systems and order management
- Comfortable collaborating across teams in a fast-moving environment
- Analytical, data-savvy, and results-driven
