Our client based in Donegal and within easy reach of Derry are a leading manufacturer with well over 30 years’ experience working on projects locally and internationally.
The business is in a period of significant growth. Due to their busy work load they have a vacancy for a Project Manager to join their team for an immediate start in their Energy Management System (EMS) department.

Management of Projects from inception to on-site commissioning and client hand over;
Define the scope of projects in collaboration with senior management;
Creation of a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete projects;
Monitor progress of projects whilst making any adjustments necessary to meet changing needs and requirements;
Manage day-to-day operational aspects on multiple projects;
Identify resources and assign responsibilities for the development of detailed software code for automation, control and energy management data acquisition applications;
Ensure that projects are completed to strict budgets and that all variations are kept up to date;
Reporting regularly on progress to senior managers and the client;
Ensure project documentation is completed against strict timeframes;
Negotiating with contractors and suppliers for materials and services.
The successful candidate will be expected to possess the following;
Relevant experience in an Engineering / Manufacturing environment;
Be efficiently organised and able to prioritise multiple tasks.
HND or BSC in Electrical Engineering/Computing with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience in a similar role;
Strong background across a range of hardware and software PLC systems.
