Our client is a Tier 1 construction company who have operations across the UK in a number of construction sectors.
They are looking for a Project Manager to join their team to work as number 1 on projects up to £15m and number 2 within a larger team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work directly with the divisional director and pre-construction director to help with tenders and proposals
- Ability to lead bid team and conversion to contract
- Plan Skill requirements for assigned projects to select employees
- Direct timely, quality and cost efficient set up for all projects]’be fully responsible for all H&S for the project with the H&S team
- To report deliver accurate and timely reports on the project to senior staff
- Ensure that project is delivered to specified quality and ahead of programme whilst working within agreed budgets
Key skills/experience:
- Strong industry experience with an engineering or construction background with good in depth knowledge of various trades required to complete a project (HNC or NVQ minimum)
- MCIOB
- Extensive experience in the main industry standard procurement routes
- Demonstrate relationships with client/consultant teams and suppliers
- Leading projects worth up to £30m
- Leading multiple small projects
