Our client is a Tier 1 construction company who have operations across the UK in a number of construction sectors.
They are looking for a Project Engineer to join their team for large construction projects in the London area for 2019.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working with pre-construction team on technical reviews of tenders
- Identifying value engineering opportunities in tenders
- Assisting Design Manager in production of design programmes and schedules
- Act as Temporary Works Coordinator on the project
- Manage site engineering function at project level
- Assist Engineering Manager to complete a full technical review and evaluation of all civil, structural and façade works
- Carry out regular site inspections on structural works as dictated by the Project Manager
Key skills/experience:
- Strong industry experience with an engineering or construction background
- Previous experience with a similar sized company for a minimum of 4 years
- Chartered status or working towards chartered status
- Temporary works coordinator qualification
- Have multi project experience covering all aspects from pre-construction through fit out to handover
