Senior Planner - Major Construction Project | Dublin

€105,000 - €115,000

We are seeking an experienced Senior Planner to join a growing team in Dublin, working on large-scale construction projects. This is a key role with full responsibility for planning and programme management across all project phases.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop bid programmes to support and complement tender submissions
• Develop, maintain, and review detailed master construction programmes and project controls procedures for live projects
• Prepare and present progress reviews to senior management
• Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of ambitious engineers
• Account management of existing clients, building long-term partnerships
• Support business development activities with new clients
• Take complete ownership of your project, assisting on others as required
• Liaise with stakeholders to review project progress, supporting risk identification and proactive problem solving
• Create and maintain schedules across pre-construction, construction, and commissioning phases, keeping progress reporting up to date
• Represent the Planning function in client and subcontractor meetings

Skills & Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or Construction Management - minimum requirement
• Minimum 5 years' relevant experience in the construction industry, preferably with main contractor background
• Proficient in programming software and BIM - Asta Powerproject and Primavera P6 preferred
• Autonomous, proactive, and results driven
• Strong management skills - communication, leadership, and problem solving
• Team player with demonstrable experience in large-scale project environments
