Office Administrator (Engineering)
FT Perm Contract
Salary circa €24/25k DOE
Our recruiters have been working with and placing staff in this business for over 10 years, they are a leading manufacturer based in the Inishowen area and therefore this role could suit someone in Donegal or living in the Derry City area.
They have a busy admin function and are showing significant growth. Due to their busy workload, they have a vacancy for an Administrator to join their team.
Working as part of a wider Engineering team, this is an excellent entry-level opportunity to valuably contribute to Project Engineering Team workload, gaining exposure across multiple national and international Projects
The Office administrator role will involve the following key tasks:
*Responsible for managing the Engineering department documents for internal sharing and external submission to clients.
*Reviewing and update all documentation, via our “Portal” to upload, download and revise a range of Engineering project related documents.
*Overseeing administrative aspects of Engineering projects, to ensure documentation is submitted according to the work schedule and any feedback from online platform is passed onto the relevant parties.
*Submitting project documentation to the Engineering dept. for approval, and then transmit approved documents to client, via client specified Document control platform
*Coordinating and supporting to ensure that all Engineering related departments of the Company are following the same procedures with regards to documents, standardisation of company submission templates and control of this i.e. front cover and template formats for Technical submittals and O+M’s across the Group.
*A minimum of 2 years’ experience within an administrative background;
*Microsoft Office literate and competent.
*Experience of working in a high-volume production / manufacturing / engineering background;
Working knowledge of online document control platforms such as ASITE, PROCORE, ACONEX.
*Ability to manage time well, multitask and work well under pressure;
*Capable and confident to work in a demanding Project Environment;
*Capable to work independently and integrate as part of the project team;
*Ability to organise own workload and multitask when required;
*Capable and able to adapt to deliver project requirements;
*Good organisational skills;
*Attention to detail, ability to identify irregularities in documentation content/format.
