NRSWA Operative

Currently looking in Oxford for NRSWA Operative.

Working in confined spaces on the street location in Oxford. Digging holes and removing materials

Immediate start in Oxford, OX1 area.

What You'll Do

• Carry out streetworks activities in line with NRSWA (New Roads and Street Works Act) regulations.
• Set up and maintain safe work zones, including traffic management and signage.
• Operate tools and machinery for excavation, reinstatement, and repairs.
• Work closely with supervisors, engineers, and utility providers to complete projects efficiently.
• Conduct safety checks and ensure compliance with all health & safety requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.

What You'll Bring

• Valid NRSWA Streetworks Operative card (Units 1-9 preferred).
• Experience in highways, utilities, or civil engineering works.
• Strong awareness of site safety and traffic management procedures.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• A proactive, team-focused attitude and good communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence (HGV or towing licence desirable).
