About the Role

Hours: Mon-Thu: 9:00am-5:00pm /Fri: 9:00am-4:30pm

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Officer to join a growing organisation and support the delivery of effective HR operations across the full employee lifecycle.
As HR Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth and efficient HR processes, supporting both employees and managers with day‑to‑day HR activities. This includes HR administration, recruitment coordination, employee relations support, HR systems maintenance, and ensuring the accuracy of employee documentation.
You'll work closely with the HR team and operational managers, contributing to essential people processes such as onboarding, contract preparation, maintaining HR records, and handling employee queries.
This role is ideal for a highly organised HR professional who enjoys a varied workload and is committed to delivering high-quality HR support.
Key Responsibilities
Support HR processes across the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employment changes, and offboarding.
Prepare employment contracts, offer letters, and other HR documentation.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records within HR systems.
Ensure all employee documentation is stored securely and in line with GDPR requirements.
Support compliance activities such as right‑to‑work checks, probation tracking, and policy acknowledgements.
Assist with recruitment activities, including posting job ads, interview coordination, and candidate communication.
Support new hire onboarding to ensure a smooth and positive experience.
Provide administrative support for employee relations processes including disciplinary, grievance, and investigation cases.
Act as a point of contact for HR-related queries from employees and managers.
Contribute to HR initiatives such as engagement programmes, wellbeing activities, and ongoing process improvements.
Qualifications & Experience
Third-level qualification in HR, Business, Law, or a related discipline.
Minimum 3-5 years experience in a HR or employee relations role.
Strong understanding of Irish employment legislation.
Experience supporting disciplinary, grievance, and workplace investigations.
Excellent communication, organisational, and problem‑solving skills.
Ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion and professionalism.
CIPD qualification (or working towards) is desirable.
