HR Generalist

We are seeking a proactive and people-focused HR Generalist in West Donegal to join a busy HR team on a 12-month fixed-term contract providing maternity leave cover. Supporting a sizable workforce, you will report directly to the Human Resources Manager (Ireland) and play a key role in delivering a professional and effective HR service across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the first point of contact for HR queries, providing professional and timely advice.
• Support managers with employee relations matters including disciplinary, grievance, absence management and employee welfare issues.
• Lead workforce planning initiatives, identifying skills gaps and succession planning opportunities.
• Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, from role design through to offer stage.
• Provide guidance on employment law, HR policies and best practice.
• Support onboarding, probation reviews, performance management and employee engagement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate personnel records and ensure compliance with data protection requirements.
• Conduct exit interviews and manage leaver administration.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years' HR experience preferred.
• Ideally CIPD qualified or hold a 3rd level degree in Business or HR Administration.
• Strong administrative, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Solid understanding of HR principles, practices and employment legislation.

Salary: €40,000
