3D Personnel is hiring a health and safety officer for a large residentail development out on the West side of the city. 2,000 units are being built around West Dublin with a 4-5 years outlook of work within the site. The required candidate must have a minimum 5+ years post qualification experience in the Construction Industry.
As a Senior Health & Safety Officer you will:
- Ensure Health and Safety remains a priority across building sites
- Maintain company’s high health and safety standards and continuously improve health & safety culture
- Perform site audits and implement new procedures
- Prepare Health Safety and Environmental Plans
- Perform risk assessments and recommend improvements
- Update Organisation’s Safety Statement in compliance with current regulatory requirements
- Record incidents and accidents whilst creating analytical data for senior management
- Remain abreast new legislation and maintaining a working knowledge of all Health and Safety Authority (HSA) legislation
- Create and execute Site inductions and refresher courses
- Act as a company representative during outside Agency Audits/Inspections with regards to Health and Safety
- Prepare and coordinate site meetings
Requirements:
- Formal qualification in Health & Safety – 3rd level is preferred
- 5+ years Health and Safety experience ideally with a main contractor
- Previous experience in ISO 9001, 14001, OHSAS 18001 accredited environments
