Job Overview:
The Head of Acquisition and Performance Marketing will be responsible for driving user acquisition and optimizing performance marketing strategies to achieve the company’s growth objectives. This role requires a highly skilled professional with hands-on experience in affiliation, programmatic advertising, and social media marketing. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the online gaming industry and a proven track record of executing successful acquisition campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Planning
- Develop and implement comprehensive acquisition and performance marketing strategies to drive user growth and retention.
- Collaborate with senior management to define and prioritize key marketing initiatives and goals.
- Create and manage the acquisition budget, ensuring cost-effective strategies and optimal ROI.
Hands-On Campaign Management
- Lead the execution of performance marketing campaigns across various channels, including affiliation, programmatic advertising, and social media.
- Optimize campaigns through continuous testing, analysis, and data-driven decision making.
- Ensure alignment of marketing strategies with overall business objectives and brand positioning.
Affiliation Management
- Develop and manage the company’s affiliate marketing program to maximize partnerships and drive traffic.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with affiliates, ensuring timely communication and support.
- Monitor and analyze affiliate performance, implementing strategies to enhance results.
Programmatic Advertising
- Oversee programmatic advertising efforts, including display, video, and mobile campaigns.
- Utilize data and technology to target and engage the right audiences effectively.
- Manage relationships with programmatic platforms and vendors to ensure optimal performance.
Social Media Marketing
- Develop and execute social media marketing strategies to drive engagement and acquisition.
- Manage social media advertising campaigns, optimizing for reach, engagement, and conversion.
- Analyze social media performance metrics to inform strategy and improve outcomes.
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop the acquisition and performance marketing team to achieve high performance and professional growth.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team.
- Hire and build a robust marketing team to support the company’s growth objectives.
- Manage external agencies and required.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years in acquisition and performance marketing, with significant experience in the online gaming industry.
- Proven hands-on experience in managing affiliation, programmatic advertising, and social media marketing campaigns.
- Demonstrated track record of driving user acquisition and optimizing marketing performance.
Skills
- Strong expertise in digital marketing channels and tools, including Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and programmatic platforms.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
