Groundworker

3D Personnel are currently looking for a Ground Worker in Christchurch for a clean water / water hygiene construction project.

The day-to-day duties will consist of:

• Digging trenches and excavation
• Using shovels and other hand tools
• Clearing the site by removing topsoil and anything that can affect the construction process
• Landscaping the site
• Carrying out site clearance, including removal of vegetation
• Removing old drainage or other pipework systems
• Assisting with any necessary demolition to enable site work
• Preparing the ground for clean water infrastructure and pipe installation
• Setting up the construction site
• Laying pipes, pavements, driveways and kerbs where required
• Working in line with strict water hygiene standards
• Collaborating with team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to specifications
• Following safety guidelines and maintaining a clean work area
• Performing all required duties as instructed by the site management team
• Conducting work according to industry health and safety standards

Requirements:

• Must hold a valid EUSR Clean Water Card (essential)
• Must have a valid medical certificate (essential)
• CSCS Card preferred
• Must have previous experience working as a groundworker, ideally on utilities or water projects
• Must be hardworking and driven
• Must have valid ID/Passport
• Must have full PPE (hard hat, hi-vis, and safety boots)
