Financial Controller required in County Donegal- commutable from Letterkenny (On-Site)

Reporting directly to senior leadership, this is a key appointment within the organisation and an excellent opportunity for an ambitious finance professional to join a successful business for their next chapter of growth.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing the finance function, supporting strategic decision-making, driving process improvements, and providing valuable commercial insight to the wider business.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparation and presentation of monthly management accounts
* Budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
* Delivering accurate and timely financial reporting to support business decisions
* Managing cash flow and working capital requirements
* Ensuring all tax and statutory compliance obligations are met
* Overseeing and developing the internal team
* Identifying and implementing process improvements across the finance function
* Supporting business growth initiatives and commercial projects
* Liaising with auditors, banks, and external advisors
* Maintaining robust financial controls and governance procedures
* Providing financial analysis and performance reporting to senior management
* Undertaking additional ad hoc projects and duties as required
The Ideal Candidate
* Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
* Previous substantial experience (ideally 10 years +) in a Financial Controller, Finance Manager, or Senior Management Accounting role
* Strong commercial awareness with the ability to influence decision-making
* Excellent analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Experience working within a fast-paced commercial environment would be advantageous
