Position: Estimators Assistant

3DPersonnel’s client is one of Irelands leading Building contractors who have grown and developed over the years. Our Client has a mixture of projects on at the moment throughout Ireland. They require An Estimators Assistant to be based In the Cork office
This role would ideally suit someone who is Cork based. The role will come with excellent career progression and Career training throughout.
Role:
- This is an administration role which will involve sending out tender enquiries both to subcontractors and suppliers and acquiring return quotations.
- Controlling all documentation including all tender and post tender correspondence
- Inputting Estimators take-off into Estimating package
- Quantifying all drawings & Tabulating same
- Liaising with suppliers regarding outstanding quotes
- Preparing spreadsheets indicating all prices received for suppliers and associated costs received
Requirements
- 2+ years’ experience in a similar role
- Civil Engineering or Construction related degree essential
- Excellent time management skills and must be able to complete projects before deadlines
- Advanced IT skills and Excel knowledge
