Location: Southampton
3D Personnel are currently recruiting for a Groundworks Estimator to join a privately owned construction company based in Southampton.
Your new employer:
Our client specialises in groundworks and civil engineering projects across the South of England. Packages include foundations, roadworks, drainage, basements and reinforced concrete frames and structures.
Roles & Responsibilities:
The Estimator will have a range of roles and responsibilities including but not limited to;
- Completing an opportunity score for each tender & prioritising workload
- Setting up tender folders
- Updating tender programme
- Administering documents – electronic &/or hard copy including printing/ filing and scheduling
- Preparing submission documents
- Following up submitted tenders
- Arranging for Bills of Quantities to be prepared externally when required
- Liaison with our clients throughout the process
- Monthly & annual reporting of tender returns, values & success rates
