We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join a leading Irish main contractor, based in either their Cavan or Dublin office and pricing building projects across Ireland.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate estimates and tender submissions for building projects
• Take off quantities and price bills of quantities and specifications
• Obtain and analyse subcontractor and supplier quotations
• Identify risks, opportunities and value engineering options
• Work with the pre-construction and commercial teams on tender strategy
• Hand over successful tenders to the delivery team

Skills & Qualifications

• Estimating experience with a main contractor
• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics or similar
• Experience pricing residential, commercial or public sector projects
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Proficient with estimating software and MS Excel
