Position: EHS Advisor

Contract: Permanent, Full time

Location: Leinster

3D Personnel are currently seeking experienced EHS Advisors to join a civil engineering main contractor in their Leinster based future projects. They will have previous experience in working for main contractors and will be expected to advice on all aspects of Environment and Health and Safety.

Key duties:

  • Have full knowledge of the project strategy and installation model;
  • Ensure the project is working in compliance with all policies, procedures and work instructions;
  • Ensure the project complies with key legislation and guidance, and be aware of any new changes to existing legislation, approved codes of practice and industry guidance;
  • Manage the Works Administration Centre and ensure that all safe systems of work and any associated permits are signed and approved appropriately;
  • Reporting and assisting in the investigation of incidents and accidents;
  • Liaise with Client EHS department during the planning and implementation of operations to ensure compliance with project requirements and work information;
  • Supporting the development of management improvement plans and feeding back information to central JFN EHS team.

Skills and competencies:

  • Degree qualified in environmental health & safety (Level 7/8 acceptable)
  • Experience in a similar role is necessary;
  • Full understanding of health, safety and environment legislation;
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills;
  • IT literate;
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills;
  • Capable of acquiring and applying detailed legal, technical and regulatory information.
