DOMESTIC ELECTRICIAN

3D Personnel are currently recruiting for a Domestic Electrician to work within a Prison in Millom LA18 4NA

The Role

📅 Monday to Friday
🕐 8am to 5pm
💷 From £21.50 - £25.50 paye
📋 Full time temporary with a potential permanent opportunity.
🔐 Security vetting due to location of the work.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Test and inspect electrical installations in domestic properties in accordance with the 17th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations, as amended from time to time.
• Maintain and repair electrical installations in accordance with the relevant regulations.
• Replace circuits and consumer units, including the full rewiring of properties.
• Comply with Company Health and Safety Policy, the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, and other statutory legislation.
• Strictly adhere to company health and safety and operational policies.
• Comply with instructions and directives from line management and the Central Coordination Team.
• Carry out electrical repairs and testing in both occupied and vacant properties.
• Undertake out-of-hours callout duties in accordance with rota requirements.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds (C&G) 2391 Inspection and Testing, or equivalent C&G 2394 & 2395.
• C&G 2382 - 17th Edition Electrical Wiring Regulations.
• C&G Installation Certificate 2360 / 2351, or equivalent Part 2 or NVQ.
• C&G 2393 - Desirable Part P Qualification.
• Asbestos Awareness Training.
• C&G 2377 - PAT Testing Course.
• Current full UK driving licence
