Document Controller/Site Admin

Required in Bristol

Long-term temporary role

£17-£20/hr (depending on experience)

Document Controller required for a construction project.

The day-to-day duties will consist of:

Managing and controlling all project documentation

Uploading, issuing, and tracking documents via the project document management system

Ensuring documents are correctly named, filed, and version-controlled

Distributing drawings and documents to the relevant teams

Maintaining accurate document registers and logs

Duties to include:

Issuing drawings and documents to site teams and subcontractors

Registering incoming and outgoing documents

Ensuring compliance with document control procedures

Supporting project teams with document-related queries

Liaising with site management, consultants, and subcontractors

Archiving project documentation in line with company procedures

Previous experience

The ideal candidate will have experience working as a Document Controller on a construction site or within a construction environment.

You should have a good understanding of document control processes and experience using document management systems such as:

Aconex

Viewpoint

Asite

4Projects (or similar systems)

You should be well organised, detail-oriented, and able to work independently while managing multiple deadlines.

Experience:

Document Control: 1 year (preferred)

Requirements and experience levels

Must be organised, proactive, and detail-focused

Valid ID/Passport

Strong IT skills (MS Office essential)

Good communication skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Previous construction experience preferred
