Our client is a tier 1 main contractor that are operating on large construction projects across the UK and are currently recruiting for candidates in the Croydon area. They are looking for a Design Manager to start a contract role on a 24 floor building.
Duties:
- Managing the day-to-day design process on the project pre and post construction
- Ensuring that the works are constructed in accordance with the Clients and Developers requirements
- Maintain and update project reporting.
- The ability to communicate effectively across all levels.
- Working day to day along the commercial team
- A strong work ethic allowing you to deliver upon your deadlines
Qualifications needed:
- Able to work as part of a team
- Previous UK Construction experience is preferred.
- Strong work ethic
- An excellent communicator.
- Have strong commercial awareness.
- Good IT knowledge
- Strong Design knowledge
- Good knowledge of relevant design programmes
