Vacancy: Design Manager

3D Personnel are currently recruiting for a Design Manager to join a successful contractor based in London with immediate start.
This client has just secured several industrial projects around the UK. This has sparked the opportunity for a Design Manager to join their growing business on a temp to perm basis.
Duties & Responsibilities:
As the Design Manger you will be responsible for but not limited to;
- Managing the design progress, quality and performance throughout the project
- Liaising with other departments (buying, estimating, contracts, etc.)
- Production of Design Plans and making sure that requirements of the plan are achieved within the timeframe
- Ensure that the design is safe, buildable and cost effective
- Make sure that the projects end results meets the customers’ expectations
- Manage the possible risk procedures in relation to Quality, Health & safety and Environmental issues
Requirements:
The Design Manager will be based out of the contractors London office but will be required to travel all around the UK.
You will have experience with Auto Cad, M&E, Structures, Fit out and RC. You will preferably have knowledge in Rivit and MS projects software.
