Contracts Manager - Drylining, Partitions & Ceilings

Location: Greater Dublin (with travel to European projects as required)

Salary: €100,000 DOE + package

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

The Company

Our client is a well-established specialist contractor with over 25 years' experience delivering drylining, fire-rated and acoustic partitions, ceilings, fireproofing and external render packages across residential and commercial developments in the greater Dublin area. Working directly with Ireland's leading main contractors, the business has recently expanded into large-scale data centre and pharmaceutical fit-out projects in mainland Europe, making this an exciting time to join a growing operation.

The Role

As Contracts Manager, you will take ownership of multiple live projects from award through to final account, acting as the key link between site teams, main contractors and company directors.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the delivery of drylining, partition, ceiling and fireproofing packages across multiple concurrent sites
  • Overseeing site supervisors, direct labour and subcontract crews, ensuring programme targets are met
  • Attending pre-start, progress and coordination meetings with main contractors and design teams
  • Reviewing drawings and specifications; ensuring works are delivered to fire-rated and acoustic performance requirements
  • Procurement of materials and labour; managing plant and logistics across sites
  • Monitoring project costs, valuations, variations and final accounts alongside the commercial team
  • Ensuring full compliance with health & safety obligations under the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005 and associated regulations
  • Driving quality standards, including certified installation requirements and handover documentation
  • Reporting on project progress, commercial performance and resourcing to senior management

The Candidate

  • 5+ years' experience in a Contracts Manager or senior Site Manager role within drylining, partitions, ceilings or interior fit-out
  • Strong technical knowledge of fire-rated and acoustic partition and ceiling systems
  • Proven experience managing multiple projects and subcontractor packages simultaneously
  • Experience working under Tier 1 main contractors; data centre or pharmaceutical project exposure a distinct advantage
  • Commercially astute, with experience in valuations, variations and cost control
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills
  • Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification; managing safely qualification (e.g. IOSH/CIF) desirable
  • Full clean driving licence
  • Willingness to travel to European sites periodically
